Despite my adoration for Cheryl and all the troubles she has publicly been through this past year, i must express my disappointment at the cover of Vogue’s most recent edition. Yes, i admire her transformation from Georgie ’chav’ to a perfectly groomed style icon. However, i put this down to the star’s surrounding team of fashionistas and the constant supply of couture dresses landing at her feet. Is this really the ‘fashion icon’ Vogue longs to grace its covers?
The cover photograph also leaves a lot to be desired. What with her awkward expression teemed with the somewhat defensive clutching of those awful flowers signifying her ‘fresh start’, Vogue this time i am simply not a fan.
- Chuck: I'm Chuck Bass. And I told you I love you. You're saying I'm easier to win over than a bunch of pseudo-intellectual homesick malcontents. You'd really insult me like that?
- Blair: That's not how it is.
- Chuck: It's exactly how it is. So the next time you forget you're Blair Waldorf, remember I'm Chuck Bass. And I love you.
